GENDER SENSITIZATION AND SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION CELL

The cell for Gender Sensitization and Prevention against sexual harassment at our institute to constitute and internal complaint committee (ICC) as per UGC direction to deal with issues gender base violence and to conduct gender sensitization program. The cell is responsible for looking into complaint filed by students and staff about sexual harassment if any happening inside the college premises.

The composition of the complaints cum Redress committee shall be: Headed by senior Faculty member Heads of All departments Should have at least two senior lady staff members from different department (if available) Should have at least two senior members from B.C., S.C. or S.T. categories (If available)

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To examine all grievance letter from woman staff / students regarding sexual harassment.

2. To examine and investigate on each complaint received from woman staff / student by collecting required information from connected people.

3. To give feed back to the woman staff / student concerned to fine solution for the grievances.
